1995:  Design project at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation.

Design project in the radio station “P3” at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. Three researchers worked in a design team with two inter-nal IT-consultants, and three user representatives. The analytic activities, conducted by the design team, involved approximately one third of the total 140 employees from the radio station. The objective was to design a coherent vision of computer support for the planning, production, broadcast-ing, and administrative follow up of radio programs. The design formed the basis for the organization’s decision about the subsequent development and implementation. A majority of the design proposals were implemented.  Experiences from experimenting with various techniques and tools (from our earlier research projects) contributed to a coherent participatory design method (the MUST method). In this project, the research goal was to test the MUST method when applied in a full scale, commercial design project. The project lasted six months and comprised in total six months of work from the researchers.
